SkyRiver Wild Child box subscription is packed with all of the survival education, tools, and gadgets that have been field tested by our very own kids in the Utah, Arizona, and the Alaskan back-country...Not to mention the couple hundred hours of Forest days with our Outdoor School students as well!
This six-month subscription will deliver the essential education and gear needed for the Wild Child in your home, followed by a hard-earned skills badge at the completion of each box!

Perfect for elementary age homeschool, or charter school students with free days looking to adventure and learn with other kids!
Join us as we take advantage of the Wasatch mountains and discover together their many hidden gems.
This program is child-led, play based, and skill building! Each week has a new lesson and skill the kids will be able to pass off including, knot tying, fire starting, water purification, safety, animal science, plant identification, etc.
Parent accompanied options are available as well as sibling discounts.

We are thrilled to introduce our Wilderness Adventure Program for teens aged 12-15.
This semester-long Beginning May 2026. This program focuses on a single mission: a raw pursuit of "rewilding"!
Each week, students explore diverse landscapes on beautiful trails, embarking on immersive experiences that foster an appreciation for nature. A key focus is on bushcraft and survival skills, where students learn crucial techniques such as shelter building, fire starting, navigation, and water purification. Spending an entire day outdoors every week, following their interests and curiosities, participants develop both emotional and physical resilience.
This course can be purchased through UFA Odyssey website or reimbursed by Open Ed and Harmony.
What to Expect
Every box contains an educational lesson through text and/or video, supplies to add to the child's adventure backpack, hands on activity, and a skills card to keep for reference. Skills badges can be earned each month for every topic!

Basecamp box is the first box that you will receive containing:
-Adventure backpack: ready to organize and store all the items arriving over the coming months. This pack will also serve as an exciting display of all the merit badges.
-Instructional lesson module: includes diagrams and descriptions of shelters suited for different conditions, empowering your child to thrive in any environment!
-Tarp Shelter: your child will learn how to use a tarp in many different ways for survival shelters
-QR code: giving quick access to a step-by-step video showing multiple ways to create shelters from their tarps and bandanas.
-Para cord and stakes: Essential to tie down and shape the tarp
-Bandana: Essential for some shelters that your child will learn about and practice
-Skills cards: At-a-glance reminder of the learned skills to keep with them in their backpack.
-Skill badge: When the child feels the skill is mastered, we ask an adult to present the associated skills badge that came in the box. Paired with an adhesive, the badge can proudly be displayed on the outside of the pack!
