Kyle Loveridge
Founder
Stats: 653 rounds of the animal game played on the trail. Bio: Kyle studied Rec Therapy at BYU, laying a foundation in both experience design and business. His career path started with working with youth in Utah state's custody at the detention center and later in ranch and wilderness program settings. One of his favorite positions was serving as a student advisor at the non-profit ScenicView Academy, serving those on the Autism Spectrum. Kyle gravitated toward operational roles at residential treatment centers as an Operations Director and also Program Director. Kyle is a father of 4 wonderful kiddos and is married to his kindergarten sweetheart. He finds joy and energy in showing others the small wonders of the mountains, and truly loves creating experiences in the wilderness for kids. Motivated by his desire to make major systemic changes in society, his professional background, and his love for the Wasatch mountains, Kyle and his wife Paige created Skyriver Outdoor Schools in 2023. It is his way of "lifting where he stands" and serving those around him
Paige Loveridge
Founder
Stats: has read aloud, 498 picture books (and counting!) in the forest. Bio: Paige has always loved natural science and can often be found geeking out over a new book and learning something new about plants or rocks or bush craft projects to share with her kids and students. Paige loves homeschooling her own kids and learning right along side them. She has witnessed within her own family how vital outside time has been for herself and her kids, mentally, emotionally and physically, and feels so passionately about spreading the benefits of outdoor learning to other families. Paige also has an irrational love for her chickens and wants a pet goat very badly. Paige has been a dental hygienist for over ten years, but would rather be in the forest playing and learning with kids any day of the week. If she could spend a day doing anything, it would be laying in a hammock in the forest, and reading aloud stories to kids. Paige has spent the last several years building SkyRiver Forest School with her best friend, Kyle. She started by doing outdoor, nature based day camps for kids and loved the creativity that came from planning and executing those. Now she gets to teach forest school and see the students grow in skill and confidence week after week. It truly is the greatest job ever!
Sidni Walser
Forest School Teacher
Stats: 273 nights spent sleeping under the stars (and counting) Bio: Sidni studied Outdoor Education and Recreation in college, where she developed skills in backpacking, winter survival, climbing, canyoneering, first aid, and Leave No Trace principles. She believes the outdoors has a unique way of building confidence, resilience, and curiosity through experiences that can't be replicated in a classroom. Since joining Skyriver Outdoor School in 2024, Sidni has loved helping children create meaningful adventures. She believes that what is meaningful, and what feels adventurous, is different for every person. Whether it's spotting a cool spider web, learning to safely use a knife, hiking a little farther than last week, or making a new friend on the trail, every child deserves opportunities to grow in ways that matter to them. As a homeschooling mom of three, Sidni brings both outdoor expertise and a deep appreciation for how children learn through exploration, play, and discovery. Her hope is that every student leaves Forest School feeling more confident, more connected to nature, and excited for their next meaningful adventure.

Rusty Loveridge
Forest School Doggy Teacher
Rusty leads the adventure with our teen group. He is a lover of any kind of water, and an incredible swimmer, digging after rodents, and being taunted by squirrels. He loves attention and hiking and thinks he is a child too.
Katelyn Garcia
Forest School Teacher
Stats: Will stop at least 50 times per mile on a hike to look at a rock or plant. Bio: Katelyn got her start working in the outdoors as a trail guide for youth in a wilderness therapy program. There she spent a week at a time backpacking with limited modern tools; carrying a pack made from a tarp, starting fires with a bow drill, drinking from desert springs, and getting to know plants and their uses. In addition to learning how to live in the wilderness, Katelyn developed the ability to be a calm and patient support for kids as they grow through challenges. Katelyn also has a degree in Art from BYU. She's had the opportunity to facilitate art education programs in a variety of settings, even combining her love of both art and nature to lead nature-based art workshops for kids. She loves to experiment with materials that she finds in nature in her own artwork. She is so energized by the creativity, imagination, and curiosity that kids bring and loves exploring the outdoors with them
Rosie Walser
Forest School Doggy Teacher
