Give your teen more than just time outdoors—offer them a season of growth, challenge, and connection.

See What It's All About!

Each day on the trail begins with intention: a circle, a gear check, and a shared plan.

From there, the group sets out toward a destination, hiking 2–8 miles (round trip) through varied terrain.

Along the way, students pause to learn and practice essential backcountry skills—bushcraft, wilderness first aid, primitive shelter building, and more—developing both competence and confidence in the natural world.

These moments call for teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving-skills that stick long after the trail ends.

The Passing Down of Bush Craft Skills

Group Hiking Outdoors

During peaceful interludes, your teen will dive into a meaningful long-term project of their choice. They might enjoy carving a wooden bow, weaving willow baskets, or mastering the art of flint knapping and cordage. Whether they are building a pack frame or keeping a nature journal, these activities help them find focus, patience, and a deep sense of pride in their creations.

As the weeks pass, you will notice a beautiful change. This group of individuals becomes a supportive team. Your teen will learn to trust their peers, find their voice as a leader, and keep going through every challenge. They come home with more than just dirt on their boots. They return with a newfound resilience, a stronger sense of self, and a lasting kinship with the earth. It is a wonderful journey where your teen finally sees exactly how much they can archive.
